If you are an employer in the adult care sector wanting to upskilll existing members of your staff, this course will enable them to develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide frontline care.

The qualification is aimed at adult care workers, support workers, key workers, healthcare support workers and healthcare assistants in a range of settings who are already have a Level 2 adult care qualification and want to extend their skills further.

Modules from the programme are taken from the Adult Care Worker apprenticeship standard.

Applicants for the course must be employed or volunteering in a relevant role in the adult care sector and have the support of their employer for the duration of the course.

Applicants are also required to have English and maths qualifications at Grade 1 or above.
