Higher Technical Qualifications

HTQs explained

Developed by employers to be career-focused

HTQs are developed by employers and approved by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education.

They are designed to align closely to industry requirements, giving you specialised knowledge and skills that can directly translate into job opportunities.

Offer both practical skills and technical depth

With a focus on practical skills, a HTQ will equip you with the hands-on, specific skills required for the industry you wish to progress into.

They’ll delve deeply into the technical aspects of your discipline and give you a comprehensive understanding of the subject.

Flexible and accessible

Hybrid options are available on our HTQ programmes to accommodate personal and professional commitments.
