Benjamin Steatham completed the Level 4 Award in Social Media Content Creator, a free skills development course run in collaboration with BlackRook Academy. As part of this course, all students are provided with a guaranteed job interview with a local employer. Through this, Benjamin was offered a job in social media and credits the course for offering this opportunity.
Benjamin said: “Studying on the BlackRook Level 4 Award in Social Media Content Creator has been the best thing that’s happened to me! The tutors have boosted my confidence so much and I’m very grateful. They provided me with great feedback and put me in touch with people in the field to learn from and further my education outside of the course, they went above and beyond!
“On the last day employers were invited to interview us for potential job roles in the field and BlackRook took the time to show off the skills we had learnt. I now have a job doing something I love which is really working out for me and has set me on a great path. I can’t wait to see where I go next.”
