After Apprentice Alex Evans finished his A Levels, he realised he didn’t want to work in an office all day, so started training as an electrician.
The 19-year-old, who is now an electrical apprentice with Accord, said: “I moved on to an electrical course and really enjoyed it so decided to do an apprenticeship in that area.
“I felt that if I wanted to be qualified this was the best way to do it as I would learn on the job while also studying. This way I am gaining hands on experience that will help me get a job.”
