Former A Level student Victoria Clarke is working at one of the world’s largest technology and consultancy firms after gaining a first in her International Business and Management at Aston University.
Victoria, who is now a marketing intern at Accenture, gained her A Levels in the college’s sixth form five years ago.
She said: “College gave me the chance to do my A-Levels and re-sit my GCSE Maths which my school was refusing to let me do as my teachers simply did not believe in me. This meant I was able to go onto university as I had the qualifications that I required to get in, as well as get a job at Accenture, who look for at least 280 UCAS points.
“I really enjoyed my two years in college, I was respected as a young adult rather than a child and there was much more freedom ultimately to study on my own, yet still get a lot of support from my tutors. I met new friends who I am still in contact with now – it was great and I couldn’t fault my time there.”
