The day after finishing college, former travel student Jennifer Cole was on her way to Mallorca to train with travel operators Thomas Cook. Just four weeks after that she was working in Cyprus, and now spends her time travelling around Europe as a Head Service Representative.
Jennifer said: “Since leaving college I have worked in Lanzarote, Turkey, Lapland, Croatia and Portugal – to name just a few.
“I loved my college experience. I always struggled at school, but the way we were taught at college really suited me.
“The teachers were patient, and because they all had a background in the industry they were able to use their own experiences to help us study and choose our career paths.
“I started college at 18, unsure of what I wanted to do, and with a severe lack of confidence. However, being with people who were interested in me and what my future aspirations were, really helped me find my feet and push myself for opportunities I didn’t know were there.”
