“Prior to this course I was just at home not doing much. I chose this course because I wanted to have a career in the railways. I thought it would be a good stepping-stone to get into the industry.
“The course gave me free PPE and taught me how to use tools, so when I work on the track in the future, I will know all of the required skills. I really enjoyed learning about the railways and all of the practical tasks. I also enjoyed meeting lots of new people.
“It’s never too later to learn a new skill. If you want to do something new, and are interested in a career working in rail industry, they I encourage you to do this course.”
