“Before this course I wasn’t doing anything. This course is free and has helped me out a lot, the NIS training and support is amazing. I have disabilities and they helped me a lot and I appreciate it. NIS are a very good company.
“I enjoyed everything about this course and I learnt a lot such as how to lay ballast, how to use tools and I have also met a lot of new people which has made me much more confident.
“To someone in a similar situation to me I would say go for it. Just believe in yourself and don’t doubt yourself. Those of us with disabilities have lots of challenges, but there are people out there is help us.
“Now I have finished the course I am going to just knuckle down and crack on with work. My advice to future students would be to believe in yourself and take notes!”
