Maissha Rahman completed the Level 4 Award in Social Media Content Creator, a free skills development course run in collaboration with BlackRook Academy. As part of this course, all students are provided with a guaranteed job interview with a local employer. Through this, Maissha was offered the role of Marketing Intern with haircare brand Nylah Naturals. Maissha is thoroughly enjoying this experience and said the following about the course:
“When I first enrolled on the course, I thought I knew everything about social media as I had recently completed a degree in Digital Marketing at Birmingham City University. Content creation is such a large aspect of marketing and this course took me deeper into a passion I was already eager to explore.
“The tutors guided each session to help us understand information and be able to apply it to the career we wanted to pursue. Each professional trainer has a different personality and appreciates how people have had different experiences. The support that was given was excellent, with one-to-one sessions and guidance on how to get the job that I would love doing.
