Zoe completed the Access to HE course at City of Wolverhampton College in the summer of 2017. She then moved on to study a 4 year Integrated – Masters in Adult Nursing at the University of Wolverhampton.
Zoe withdraw from her placement in her third year due to the pandemic and returned November 2020 for her fourth and final year of the course. Zoe added “At this time the number of infections were increasing sharply and it was extremely nerve-wracking after being off during the first wave. I remained on placement up until the end of January 2021 and am currently completing my final semester of theory work at Uni. I will be back on placement in March.”
Zoe added “Working in the hospital during the pandemic has been really difficult, for many reasons, and I know a lot of students and staff have really struggled. The days feel longer than before, the workload feels twice as hard, but the support from friends, family and colleagues has been amazing and that’s what keeps us going. I remained on placement up until the end of January 2021 and am currently completing my final semester of theory work at University.”
Zoe hopes to have finished university by August and her career as a newly qualified Nurse.
