Amanda Tomlinson
Amanda has been the Chief Executive of Black Country Housing Group since 2013. Prior to that, she operated at the executive level for over 10 years and has a professional background in finance as a former Finance Director with a CIPFA qualification.
Amanda has held a number of non-executive director roles and is currently Chair of Active Black Country. She became a Governor at City of Wolverhampton College in January 2021 and is Vice-Chair as well as Chair of its Remuneration Committee.
Amanda is passionate about addressing inequalities in our local communities and works with organisations that create a positive social impact. Education and lifelong learning are equally important to her; at a professional level, her role requires continual self-development, while personally, her interest is in languages, with qualifications in French, German, Spanish, and Latin. Duolingo is her go-to app when holidays approach, with Portuguese being the latest language to explore.
