Ryan Johnson

Ryan has worked in the further education (FE) sector for the past 12 years and is currently Head of Apprenticeships at the college.  

During his career in FE Ryan has been a lecturer, curriculum manager, assistant director and campus director with responsibility for apprenticeships and 16-18 provision within STEM and construction technology industries.  

Ryan has experience of developing apprenticeship programmes partially to support the advanced manufacturing engineering and sustainable energy sectors.  

During his career Ryan has formed partnerships with a number of leading local and national employers to support LEP priorities and the development of apprenticeship standards.  

Prior to working in the FE sector Ryan worked within the engineering sector as a vehicle dynamics engineer.
