Sam Duru
Sam was appointed as a Governor at City of Wolverhampton College in 2021 and is a member of the Apprenticeship Task and Finish Group.
He is an accomplished generalist business support professional, very much supporting businesses in developing their strategic objectives and providing them with analytical framework for scaling up.
An enterprise mentor for over 20 years, Sam is the Founder & Managing Consultant at SCA Management Consulting Ltd and Chair/Executive Director of Wolverhampton Black Business Network CIC (WBBN)
He has over 25 years of business support experience, is a CIMA qualified management accountant, a qualified procurement professional and member of Institute of Consulting. Sam was a generalist business adviser for six years working for the then Business Link West Midlands.
In addition Sam organises and leads business support workshops in Wolverhampton for new and existing businesses. His company delivered on the City of Wolverhampton Council’s RELIGHT programme conducting financial reviews for businesses (as part of business support package during Covid-19.) He is on the board of other community and voluntary organisations in Wolverhampton and is a member of the Diocesan Synod for Lichfield Diocese (Church of England).
